Steve Osborne Motorsports (Marketing Group) had a long wet weekend. SOM drove out on Friday (April 2) to Ocean Speedway (www.oceanspeedway.com) to have the races rained out. SOM decided to run with the Golden State Series at Antioch speedway on Saturday (April 3). The night started slow by qualifying 19th on a hooked up track against 410ci teams. Starting in the back of the main event, SOM started to go forward in the field before losing the car in turn three and collecting a few cars and damaging the 9J sprint car. This ended the weekend for SOM. The next event for SOM will be at Ocean Speedway on Friday April 16th. Hope to see you at the races

Steve Osborne Motorsports Marketing Group first motorsports event was on Saturday March 6th at the famous Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare Ca. www.thunderbowlraceway.com. The iFLYsponsor #9j had a successful outing at it first non-wing sprint car race , finishing 13th in the main event out of the 31 participants. Next race will be on March 13th at Gaint Speeday, Hanford, CA.

Steve Osborne Motorsports Marketing Group racing season is just upon us. First race of 2010 season will be the USAC non-wing 360 event at Thunderbowl Speedway in Tulare CA on March 6th. S.O.M. is in the process of rebuilding the ASCS 360 power plant. Griffin Auto parts and Roger Bixler are working together to get this power plant completed. Steve Osborne Motorsports (SOM) participated in the GLR 360 Ocean Speedway sprint car race on Friday October 9th. SOM started out the night by qualifying 13th out of 34 cars. Then in heat race #1 SOM crashed the car and put us out of competition for the night.

49TH JOHNNY KEY CLASSIC AT OCEAN SPEEDWAY:
Steve Osborne Motorsports (SOM) participated in the 49th Johnny Key Classic at Ocean speedway on August 29th. SOM qualified 4th, setting SOM on the out side 2nd row for the 12 lap non qualifying race. SOM then finished 4th and setting SOM starting position in the 50 lap main event. SOM finished the long 50 lap race in 11th position.
