Steve Osborne Motorsports night at Ocean Speedway did not go as well as expected. Steve got tangled with another car in the heat race and flipped hard out of turn three. The best thing that happed was that one lucky fan won a free flight from S.O.M. marketing partner iFLY (www.iflysfbay.com). Steve Osborne Motorsports Marketing Group will be racing at the 1/4 mile Ocean Speedway, Watsonville CA. Friday July 30th. S.O.M. will be giving away one IFLY (www.iflysfbay.com) pass to a lucky fan. Steve Osborne Motorsports (Marketing Group) is excited about getting back to the track. S.O.M. has been busy with marketing events that are not pertaining to the race tracks. Trade shows and open houses have been filling S.O.M. schedule. Jim Osborne (Crew Chief) will be working back in San Jose after July 5th, which will give him time to have the #9 sprint car race ready for the remaining of the 2010 season. S.O.M. would like to thank all of its marketing partners that have been such a huge part of our Marketing Group. We will keep you posted on the event that S.O.M will be attending.

Steve Osborne Motorsports marketing Group has decided to cut back the race schedule for the rest of 2010. S.O.M. will be racing at Ocean Speedway on selected nights, and the Trophy Cup in Tulare Ca, Thunderbowl Raceway. We are looking for new ways to help market our Partners. We all know the best marketing is not at the dirt tracks unless your looking for name recognition. iFLY (www.iflysfbay.com) will continue to support S.O.M. for 2010 season. See you at the races.

Steve Osborne Motorsports Marketing Group has had a rough start for 2010. S.O.M had lost two cars in the first 4 races, and one motor that are waiting for final build. S.O.M has helped a lot of companies get the most exposure as possible from the use of getsom.net and the golf tournaments and the shows for different companies through out Northern California. We are hoping to bring on more marketing partners to our motorsports venues and to help these companies mix with other partners for future business. OCEAN SPEEDWAY 4/14/2010 RESULTS + IFMA GOLF TOURNAMENT

S.O.M. did a little better this week while racing at Ocean Speedway. S.O.M. started on the pole of the 4th heat race due to a 24th fastest qualifier. S.O.M. did what it could to hold off three hot shoes but finished 4th to transfer to the main event. Then starting 22nd in the main event, S.O.M finished 14th. S.O.M. is looking for a better run in Tulare’s Thunderbowl raceway on Saturday May 22nd.

Steve Osborne Motorsports Marketing Group will be at the IFMA Golf Tournament this Friday May 21st. S.O.M. has sponsored two holes to help market S.O.M. marketing partners.

S.O.M. AT OCEAN SPEEDWAY 5/7/2010

Steve Osborne Motorsports did not have that great of a night in Watsonville Ca. Steve’s reached the main event by barely making it through the B main event. S.O.M. put a new car together this last week and is working out all the bugs. It just took most of the night to get the car loosened up. Steve finished disappointing 18th. COBE Construction employees and friends joined S.O.M. in the pit area and enjoyed Taco Bravo burritos and drinks all while having a great time at the races. We also added our new marketing partner JL’s Auto and Harley Detail Service on the car. Next race is on May 14th at Ocean Speedway. See you at the races.

Tracy Optometry Group Joins S.O.M. partnering group

Steve Osborne Motorsports (S.O.M.) will be partnering up with Tracy Optometry Group (36 W 10th St Tracy CA) on Saturday, May 1st, from 8:30am to 2:00pm. Tracy Optometry Group will be raffling sunglasses off every half hour during the event.
S.O.M. and driver will have the #9j sprint car on site promoting Tracy Optometry Group and promoting Victory Junction Gang Camp. TACO BRAVO 360 AT OCEAN SPEEDWAY

Steve Osborne Motorsports (Marketing Group) First race for the Taco Bravo 360 didn’t start as good as expected. S.O.M. started out the night by passing out iFLY (www.iflysfbay.com) brochures and saying hi to the fans as they came through the gates for a exciting night of racing. S.O.M. started the night by qualifying 25th, then starting in the 2nd heat race and finishing out side the top 4 transfers. That put the S.O.M. in the B main event. Starting on the out side second row was thought to be a great place to start this event, But going into turn one we had a over aggressive young driver drive up the back of the iFLY sponsored sprint car and both cars went over hard and taking S.O.M. out for the night. The next event for S.O.M. will be on April 30th in Santa Maria Ca.
